Background
Benjamin is a well-rounded counselor with experience in both educational and clinical settings. While teaching writing and literature at a community college, Benjamin had the fantastic opportunity to work with younger and older adults and be a part of their lives.
During this time as a teacher, however, Benjamin noticed a great need for career and life counseling among his students. This inspired him to start his journey towards becoming a counselor – specifically, a Catholic counselor. Furthermore, being a parent of a large family, Benjamin has much experience working with children and students and is passionate about helping them find ways to grow and flourish in life.
When it comes to his Catholic faith, Benjamin has always valued its importance in his life. He grew up a cradle Catholic, and from a young age, he was always drawn to the lives of the saints. Their lives served as an inspiration, and they continue to be his models. He values combining the mental health field with Catholic anthropology.
Through personal experiences in his own life, Benjamin understands how faith can be helpful during challenging times and how it can lead to healing and greater self-understanding. Benjamin is passionate about walking with all individuals - children and adults - on their healing journey.
No matter your concern or where you are within your faith journey, Benjamin seeks to meet every person where they are and help them live life to the fullest.
